On this Monday Apple released a recommended update for all Mac OS X 10.5.x Leopard users that includes general operating system fixes that improve the immovability, compatibility and security of Macs. But different support forums indicate that Apple’s Mac OS X 10.5.6 update is wreaking chaos on users’ systems.

The most familiar problem consists of crashing or hanging, midway of install or immediately after that. This system is causing a host of troubles for users, ranging from broken Bluetooth connections and no sound to large popping noises during boot-up and dead USB ports. Others there is also a lot of complain from the users. Most of the users are reporting on that after the initial installation, their Macs stay frozen on “configuring setup.” Others who have made it through the installation process found that their devices no longer recognize the mouse, open suitcase version 2, or connect to the AirPort wireless network, among other issues. Some user found that after typed password, the screen went blue, and then again returned to login screen. Moreover, Apple issued Mac OS X 10.5.6 in order to address problems, for example the ones with adobe flash player plug-in, internet sharing of service, and calculation issues.

So, Apple’s latest update to its Leopard operating system, come out to be creating more troubles than it’s fixing on users’ Macs. Countless different solutions have been proposed, such as repairing from the Mac OS X Leopard install disc or downloading the Combo update from Apple’s website, but no complete and universal answers have so far been revealed that can satisfied the users.
