What the equipments US soldiers use during operation in Afghanistan and Iraq. Actually, those are not any fire arms. The equipments are Apple’s iPods and iPhones.

The both easy-to-use gadgets have been griped by the soldiers as they can carry safely some secure software. The gadgets can contain nearly 30,000 programs. Those are being used for all like translating to working out the route of snipers. Additionally, the devices are cheaper than developed a version exclusively for the armed forces. The iPod touch is more preferable to the soldiers for secure WiFi network. The retails price of it about 230 dollars and the iPhone price at 600 dollars.

The US forces is now working on how the gadgets could be used as control systems for different bomb disposal robots. They also try to use them to get aerial footage or video clips from unmanned drone airliner. At present, the American Marine Corps is financing an application that could allow armed forces to upload photographs of any detained suspects into any biometric database. It also helps to get written reports.

The US Army’s Intelligence Director for electronic warfare and sensors operation, Lt. Colonel Jim Ross, said the iPod “may be all that the personnel need”. He added “What gives it added advantage is that a lot of them have their own personal ones so they are familiar with them.”

The VoiceOver may not identify the names of the song names or playlist on iPod shuffle 3G, according to Apple. Instead of recognize the names of the songs or playlist it may represent like “playlist 1″ or “audiobook 1″. However, the possible solutions are available and we will discuss it below.

First and most reasonable solution for this matter is enabling the VoiceOver interface. If your VoiceOver is disabled then you will hear the default playlist as “playlist” or “audiobook” on your third-gen iPod shuffle. Actually, this is a standard performance for iPod shuffle 3G.

Another reason for such behavior is device might contain too much contact. If the memory of your iPod shuffle 3G is all most full then such problem may occur. The solution for such matter is to remove some songs podcasts from your device and then reinstalling the VoiceOver files by using the guide below,

Select the iPod shuffle in the list of device from iTunes and click the tab.

Deselect Enable VoiceOver from Voice feedback.

Click Apply.

Select Enable VoiceOver.

Click Apply.

Finally, your iPod Shuffle 3G devices possibly have been disconnect from the computer before it generate the VoiceOver files and sync them over to the iPod. Apple say’s, this issue can take place if iTunes is enabled to “Manually Managed Music” for your iPod Shuffle. To prevent from happening this problem, you can simply reinstall the VoiceOver files to iPod Shuffle and keep it connected so it can complete sync. “iPod sync is complete. OK to disconnect” will appear to your screen when it finishes sync from iYunes.
